It is that time of year again when we get to get out doors, enjoy the fresh fall air and shop all the wonderful Antique Shows! The Famous Petaluma Fall Antique Faire is this Sunday September 25th! This is show is a favorite among vendors and shoppers, you are sure to find something for everyone.

Summer Cottage Antiques is located right on Kentucky Street where the faire takes place. Be sure to stop by the stores' space which is right outside and then come on in the store to see all the new merchandise and creative displays the dealers have done just for this event! Hello everyone, thanks for stopping in. Fifi O'Neill's book Romantic Prairie Style is on our minds. Why? you ask, well our very own Michelle McCauley, owner of Summer Cottage Antiques has one of the honored homes featured in this beautiful book.
Couldn't you just curl up in this lovely bed and take a nap? Beautiful, peaceful, calm, all situated amongst the pine trees in a cabin in the Northern California Sierra's. Michelle and her husband Scott love to escape to this beautiful place where life can take on a simpler pace.
The cabin is featured along with several other homes where Fifi has beautifully brought us the romantic prairie style, and in Fifi's words "it's a style that says "home" wherever you may be because, more than anything else, it's a mindset."

Tiny Visitors

Hi everybody, thanks for dropping by. This is Michelle, owner of Summer Cottage Antiques. I just wanted to share an experience from my home. We were in awe to see these tiny creatures so close to our front door. These pictures show the hummingbirds nested on my porch. They show up every year and it is so fun to see the babies.
